MSD’s strategy to increase access to justice includes work to streamline court procedures, reduce pre-trial detention, and introduce and promote Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms. Keeping in mind the needs of marginalized populations such as women and youth, MSD’s strategy also incorporates the establishment of remote justice facilities or circuit judicial services, public education on anti-corruption and judicial ethics, and civilian policing.
