A senior MSD manager is designated as the Officer in Charge (OIC) for each project to participate in major decisions, ensure that all corporate resources are allocated as necessary, and resolve disputes. MSD’s Chief Financial Officer oversees all financial transactions and administration, including project budgets, invoicing, payment processing, and human resources. The home office Project Manager maintains routine communication and contact with the project field office, providing both technical and management support to the project. MSD’s home office monitors project implementation providing corporate oversight to ensure compliance with USAID programmatic needs and policies. This structure proves extremely successful in ensuring transparency, and accountability in project implementation.
