MSD works to build civil society’s capacity to monitor, advocate, and grow local support for judicial reforms and human rights. Through organizational capacity building, MSD works to improve the management and administration of community-based organizations to ensure responsibility and accountability at the community level. MSD strengthens civil society through promoting and educating civil society groups on principles of rule of law, use of legal mechanisms, and strategies to influence public policy, and supports the development of training modules, including webinars and video “shorts” to explain the nature and impact of local and national judicial and human rights reforms.
